1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NairaBuy.ng ("the Platform", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What NairaBuy.ng Is

NairaBuy.ng is an online marketplace that connects buyers with sellers across Nigeria. We are a platform, not a seller. We do not own, store, or ship products ourselves. All products are sold by independent sellers who are responsible for their listings, quality, and fulfilment.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be at least 18 years old
• Register as either a Buyer or a Seller (you may have both roles with separate accounts)

4. Buying on NairaBuy.ng

When you place an order, you agree to:

• Pay the full amount listed, including the ₦1,500 delivery fee
• Provide accurate delivery information
• Be available to receive your order at the delivery address
• Not dispute legitimate charges via your bank or Paystack

5. Selling on NairaBuy.ng

As a seller, you agree to:

• Only list products you legally own and have the right to sell
• Provide accurate descriptions, prices, and images
• Maintain sufficient stock to fulfil orders
• Ship orders promptly (within 48 hours of payment)
• Honour returns in line with our Returns Policy
• Pay a 10% commission on each sale (deducted automatically by Paystack)
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours

6. Prohibited Items

You may NOT list or sell:

• Counterfeit or replica goods
• Illegal drugs, weapons, or ammunition
• Stolen property
• Prescription medications or controlled substances
• Adult content
• Live animals
• Any product that violates Nigerian law

7. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Paystack. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms. NairaBuy.ng does not store your card details.

Payouts to sellers are automatic: 90% of each sale is sent to the seller's bank account immediately after payment, and 10% is retained by NairaBuy.ng as commission.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary based on location, courier availability, and unforeseen circumstances. See our Shipping Info for details.

9. Returns and Refunds

Buyers may return items within 7 days of delivery if they meet our Returns Policy criteria. Refunds are processed by Paystack back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

10. Disputes

If there is a dispute between a buyer and seller, both parties agree to:

• Communicate directly first through the platform
• Allow NairaBuy.ng to mediate if needed
• Provide evidence (photos, messages, tracking info) to support their case

NairaBuy.ng's decision on disputes is final.

11. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• List prohibited items
• Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
• Receive repeated customer complaints
• Attempt to bypass the platform's payment system

12. Limitation of Liability

NairaBuy.ng acts as a marketplace only. We are not liable for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of items listed
• The accuracy of listings or seller claims
• Delays or failures in delivery
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on NairaBuy.ng — including the logo, text, design, and code — is our property and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy, or republish any part without written permission.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.
